Fellowship Groups

What are Fellowship Groups?

A fellowship group is made up of anywhere between 15 and 40 people and is a vital part of growing as a Christian as it provides a place for close relationships and deeper learning about biblical principles. This idea has roots in the early Christian movement, where the New Testament describes a thriving community centered in homes where people gathered to hear teachings, share meals, pray, and build meaningful friendships (Acts 2:43-47; Ephesians 4:15-16). God has a special purpose for each person in the community (1 Corinthians 12:11-25; Romans 12), and we believe that participating in a home church is the best way to experience the love of Jesus. This type of fellowship is what God desires for his people and we encourage everyone to get involved.

Student

These are not your parent's youth groups. Well, maybe they are - if your parents went to awesome youth groups they begged to go to each week. Beacon, for kids in 4-6th grade, meets on Friday nights several times a month for Bible study and wildly fun activities. Cubed, for high school students, has a Bible Study at the Study Center every other Monday night. These are substantial teachings that allow students to engage with questions, doubts, and opinions. Of course, high school students have a lot of fun at their meetings, too.
