Who We Are

The Identity Project is a student-run Christian Bible study that meets at Kent State University every week. We are the church for people who are not into church and we provide a warm environment for the free exchange of ideas. We do not have a worship service or engage in spooky rituals, nor do we ask for your money. We believe in Jesus Christ’s changing love and His desire for everyone on Earth to come into a loving relationship with Him.

We’re Pagan Christians, not “good churchgoers.”

The Bible says that every person is alienated from God because of sin. The good news is that Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins and that anyone can ask Him for forgiveness (John 3:16). We believe in spreading this good news everywhere we go.

Tired of the traditional church? Check out the Identity Project, it may be the place for you! We are not uptight and encourage people of all beliefs to come and hear the sweet news about Jesus.
