Growing up as a missionary’s kid, I learned a lot about Jesus and His Word, but it wasn’t until later that I made the personal decision to ask for Christ’s death on the cross to count for me. Since then, the Lord has taught me a lot about myself and even more about Himself, as He has been teaching me what it means to pick up my cross daily. I look forward to a future in heaven with Him and aspire to have a close relationship with Christ so much that I can say with Paul, “For me, to live is Christ and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21).
